Author

He studied at the Cours Simon acting school in Paris and at the Berlin University of the Arts. A lengthy study visit to the Théâtre du Soleil in Paris also had a formative influence on him. Key stops in Germany included the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam, the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, the municipal theaters in Heidelberg, Ingolstadt, and Solothurn, as well as the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. For several years now, he has been producing his own plays and programs together with his wife, Anette Daugardt, at the “Kant Theater Berlin,” most recently an adaptation of Orwell’s “1984” and the production “Matratzengruft,” which focuses on the final years of Heinrich Heine’s life in exile in Paris. In addition, the CD “Heine Gets the Groove” has just been released, featuring Heine poems that he set to music and recorded together with guitarist Ian Melrose. He is also active as a voice actor.
