Urszula Usakowska-Wolff, born in 1954 in Warsaw, studied German and Romance languages and literatures at the Universities of Bucharest and Warsaw. She has lived in Germany since 1986, most recently in Berlin, and is a poet, art critic, curator, and translator of Polish literature with numerous book publications, including an anthology of her poems, “Perverse Verse” (Pop Verlag).
