Krzysztof Leon Dziemaszkiewicz: visual artist, performer, and creator of paintings and objects made using the adhesive tape technique. Born in 1963 in Poland, he currently lives and works in Berlin.
Dziemaszkiewicz’s trans-gender and transsexual work aims to reconcile opposites and raise questions about the boundaries between animality and humanity. His work is based on intuitions, instincts, and emotions; honesty is the ultimate principle. An uncompromising stance toward social restrictions creates a unique language of artistic expression.
The artist’s works have been exhibited in numerous countries across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, garnering significant attention and interest everywhere. Dziemaszkiewicz is the person he wishes to create himself to be, in the name of the freedom of every individual.
